Plain and simple, this stand is too short for the chair I have. Maybe I need to get a smaller chair. At first, I couldn’t attach the chair to the ring, to hang it. I had to rig it on the top, and it was fine. When I did get something to hang it with, it hung way too low, and I was actually sitting on the bottom part of the stand. So, back to rigging it like before. Now, even with that, it’s too low since the chair stretched. I’ll have to see about finding a shorter chair since it would be way to much of a hassle and too expensive to send the stand back.

I highly recommend the Outback chair company and any chair or frame they make!
The chair I received was missing parts in the box, so after having limited options with returning and getting a new almost 60 pound chair, I called the outback chair company and spoke with Jack. He was great and the company is great! If you have any problems with hardware, they are more than happy to work with you to get you the part I need! I know there are less expensive chairs out there, but when you subject the item to all the elements and the company stands behind it even though they did not sell it, that is the sign of a great company!
I greatly recommend the outback chair company!

The chair frame is great! I’ve had a sky chair for years an nowhere to hang it. However, the size information in the product description lead me to believe that the frame was significantly smaller. It’s just over 8 feet tall - I can’t set it up on the second floor my house, where I had planned to use it, because it’s too tall for the ceiling. It’s sturdy and easy to put together, but make sure that you have high ceilings if you plan to use it indoors!

Wow-we could not believe the size of the frame for our air chair-check out the dimensions because it is large-and heavy-a good thing-no tipping over with this frame and it can hold 300 lbs for us. It is so heavy we need three of us to move it! I wish we could add wheels-I am going to check that out-if it is possible. It looks like we will have this product forever-

Cedar wood was very nice, BUT one of the wood slats was drilled incorrectly. I redrilled it myself. Had trouble fitting all parts of the seat together. Also I replaced the hardware for the BACK with stronger brackets. In all I would have to give this 6 out of 10, for the extra work, time and money I had to put in.

  First the not-so-good: I made a mistake when I bought this book. I was looking for a book on how to design a deck. The description says that the book includes "an easy-to-follow design guide." Well, I read the book from cover to cover, and I haven’t found that guide. What I have found are photos of decks, and descriptions of their features. That’s it.

  Now for the good: the photos are lavish, beautiful, and brimming with information. They are truly inspiring. In addition, they are beautifully printed on a nice, heavy paper.

  I’ll be keeping the book, but in the meantime still searching for a good book on deck design that is actually more of a how-to.

  First let me make it clear that this is not a book about building decks. "Design Ideas for Decks" is a sourcebook for exactly what it states - designs. And the design ideas are plentiful and beautiful. Unique layouts, multi-level decks, accents to give aesthetic beauty, everything about design is covered in the book. Just looking through it once gave me several ideas for my backyard deck that I would not have thought of but will add a lot of character to the deck and make it the functional deck that I want. "Design Ideas for Decks" is a highly recommended resource for ideas for your new deck or to remodel your current one to make it more functional or aesthetically pleasing.
